Camp Echo & Grow

Camp Echo and Grow is a camp for neurodivergent children in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.

This camp is hosted by three neurodiversity-affirming speech therapists on a mission to amplify neurodivergent voices.

At Camp Echo and Grow, your child will be placed in a small cohort with peers with similar interests. They will be exposed to a language-rich curriculum that is implemented using child-led, play-based methods. All therapists are proficient in gestalt language processing, AAC, and sensory integration.

Our hope is that when your child leaves camp, that they will have emerging friendships, be their authentic self, grow in social communication and have emerging self advocacy skills.

Camp Echo and Grow is a camp for all abilities and levels of support needs for children 3-8 years old.

Benefits of neurodiversity affirming social skills at camp

Provide an ideal environment to support your child to be their best self, continue to grow, honor their communication style, and expand current skill set

  • Connect parents/caregivers to other neurodiversity-affirming providers in the area. Allowing parents to create their own tribe to support their loved one

  • Provide opportunities for kids to connect with peers that have the same interests, communication style, etc. to allow

Because these three neuro-affirming experts are either neurodivergent themselves or have close family members who are ND, it is so important to them that your child doesn’t have to mask and adopt neurotypical social pragmatic skills to grow at this camp and beyond.

  • Throughout the day, natural opportunities for social skills will be present, and expert therapists will support your child in navigating those interactions, all while honoring their sensory preferences, communication modality, and their authentic self.

  • It is $600 for four half days. Scholarships may be available!

  • There will be three sessions of camp, children can attend one week or all three!
